OUCH! Solving Your Hidden HVAC Power Drain

Commercial HVAC system

I’ll make this quick.

I was recently introduced to a permanent solution for an expensive commercial HVAC problem I didn’t even know existed. It’s called “oil fouling” and comes from an inherent engineering design problem in all cooling system compressors and heat exchangers that use oil. Trace amounts of oil from the compressors always leak into the heat exchanger. This is true on all brands of HVAC systems, commercial and consumer units.

The oil mixes with the refrigerant, slowing down its own heat transfer properties circulating in the coil, and coating the metal coil. The oil coating acts as a barrier to reducing the heat transfer properties, losing as much as 30% of their cooling power from the moment the system is turned on.

All well documented by ASHRAE, this process begins from Day 1 of operation and peaks in the first five (5) years. This results in your HVAC system running longer to reach the set temperature, and the compressor pushing harder to circulate refrigerant. The impact to your operation: Electric bills that are at least 8% higher overall and at least a 20% reduction in useful life of the system.

Those who know me, know I only offer products that work as advertised. Check this out… PermaFrost uses nanotechnology and is UL certified, warranted with insurance coverage, and has over 300,000 successful treatments without failures of any kind on all kinds of commercial cooling systems for companies with names we all know like Citi Group, Wendy’s restaurants, and QTS Data Centers. It uses nano-technology and it works with all types of refrigerant and oils.

Here’s a rundown of the benefits the company sent me:

Immediate, permanent power savings:

Up to 30% of thermal degradation is restored. For those needing more power for computing demands, that’s 30% more power for customers! • ~8% on overall monthly $$$ expense for electricity• A 9-18 month Return On Investment • Less system runtime and system stress to increase the useful life of equipment by >20% • Qualifies as a capital expense.

Tax Deductible: “Energy-Efficient Commercial Building Deduction (179D)”• Meet Government Compliance for lowering energy demand, where it’s legislated.

No Risk –

• 300,000+ Commercial HVAC, Chillers, refrigeration systems treated without harm• $2M commercial insurance/per incident coverage• UL tested• No loss or void of HVAC warranty

Within 2 weeks, your buildings or a subset of them, can be treated and on their way back to the cooling specifications expected when they were first installed.
